I had such a great experience ordering from this bakery. Despite the short turnaround time, they were incredibly accommodating and made everything happen smoothly. The whole transaction was seamless from start to finish. The cake looked absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. The birthday boy loved it, and even his German friend gave it high praise, which says a lot coming from someone familiar with authentic German baking. Special thanks to Gerhard for being so kind and accommodating throughout the process. Highly recommend this bakery :)

Bread Pete is one of our favorite local spots. I try planning my appointments in South cape around the times they are open so I can swing by. A BYO sandwich and a chocolate croissant hits the spot every time. So simple but so great! And service is always amazing. Thank you!

From the moment you walk in, you can tell there's quality and care in every detail. The breakfast was spectacular; the pretzel was perfectly baked, the sausages had excellent flavor, and the sauerkraut complemented the dish perfectly. Everything felt fresh, well prepared, and authentically German. The service was friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant. Without a doubt, a place I recommend for a different and high-quality breakfast. I'll definitely be back!

Stopped by Bread Pete for the first time and tried the breakfast croissant with pork sausage, SO good! The croissant was perfectly flaky with a nice crunch on the outside, and everything inside was just as good. I paired it with gouda cheese, which melted perfectly and added so much flavor. Everything about this sandwich just worked together so well! Fresh, warm, and super delicious! Definitely one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in a while. I’ll 100% be back!

Great German bakery with amazing homemade pastries, coffees, teas and fresh breads! Breakfast options are delicious and feel very authentic. Everything tastes super fresh and you can tell they bake with love. Staff are friendly, welcoming and happy to serve you. Highly recommend stopping by!
